Downingtown Library & Downingtown Area Recreation Consortium (DARC) invite you to join our “Mary Cassatt at Work” Bus Day Trip to the Philadelphia Museum of Art on June 22, 8:30 – 5:00.
This is the first large-scale U.S. exhibition of the celebrated artist’s work in 25 years.

To allow the Library and DARC to obtain group rates, May 31 is the cut off for reservations

• 8:30 a.m. arrive at Royal Farms Park ’n Ride (Routes 322 and 30) to sign in and select bus seats (first-come/first-on bus) for on-time 9:00 a.m. departure. Breakfast baked items and fundraiser raffle tickets will be available for purchase (cash only); proceeds benefit Downingtown Library.
• 3:30 p.m. on-time departure from Museum for return to Downingtown by 5:00 p.m. Cookies and bars + fundraiser raffle tickets will be available for purchase (cash only) + winners announced.
• Space is limited; we have 52 bus seats. Bus seats will sell out quickly.
• No smoking or alcohol is allowed on the bus.

• Review the Museum’s list here of items prohibited in the Museum including large bags (over 16″ × 16″ × 8″) and bags carried on one’s back. Only graphite pencils (available at the admissions desk) and sketchbooks 18″ x 24″ or smaller are permitted.
• You are on your own for lunch. The Museum has Stir Restaurant, the Café, and the Balcony Café.
• You can spend the entire day in the Museum of Art, use part of your day to explore the Rodin Museum, or walk down from the Museum’s parking garage to the Philadelphia Waterworks and along the Schuykill River.

$45.00 “On Your Own” Package: Round-trip bus transportation only. Each person (age 0 – 100+) must have a separate seat (State law). No ticket to the exhibit is provided. If you have a Philadelphia Museum of Art membership, check your membership level and make reservation(s) for the Mary Cassatt exhibit, as needed. Before tickets sell out, be sure to reserve them ASAP.

“Bus transportation + Mary Cassatt Exhibit Tickets” Package: Round-trip bus transportation + Mary Cassatt Exhibit 11:30 or 1:30 timed entry + access to the Philadelphia Museum of Art + access to the Rodin Museum. Each person (age 0 – 100+) must have a separate bus seat (State law).
