We are pleased to announce the 8th annual D-town Brew-Down on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Minquas Fire Company No. 2, 141 Wallace Avenue, Downingtown, PA. All proceeds benefit the Downingtown Library. Attendees will taste a wide variety of high-quality, home-brewed beers, which will be professionally judged for cash prizes. Food will be available on site for purchase from our friends at Chick-fil-A Downingtown!
The Downingtown Library is a vibrant public library serving over 50,000 residents in Chester County. As an integral part of the Downingtown area community, library services are in great demand and growing, with many programs at full capacity, particularly the children’s programs. To meet this demand, we must increase our services, programs, staff, and physical space. While we do receive generous funding from the state, county, and local municipalities, we must also raise additional funds for these necessary upgrades.
