The Downingtown Library has four (4) public computers with internet connections that are free to use for the public with or without a library card. Please note that the computers shut down 15 minutes before the library closes.

Free WiFi

Free WiFi is available within the library. To connect please select the following:

Photocopy and Printing

Black/White: 20 cents per page
Color: 50 cents per page
Please note that printing is only available from the public computers.

Scanning

Free scanning is available. Please note that you will need an email address to receive the scanned file(s).

Mobile Hotspots

The Downingtown Library has three (3) Mobile Beacon (4G LTE) Hotspots to borrow. They allow access to unlimited, high speed internet service anywhere a Sprint signal can be received. Up to 10 devices may be connected at a time.

Cardholder’s library account must be up-to-date, fine-free, and without restrictions.
Hotspots cannot be placed on hold and cannot be renewed. They must be picked up and returned inside the Downingtown library (not in outside book return and not at another Chester County library).

Borrowing period: 1 week
Late fee: $20 per day
Lost/damaged fee: $100
